A California native, she is proud to call Durham her forever home. She lives near Ninth Street with her husband and three young sons.
Paige is dedicated to working at the intersection of the arts, advocacy, and community building. She came to Durham ten years ago to attend Duke University, where she earned her PhD in United States history with a focus on twentieth century social movements. Soon realizing the transient life of an academic was not for her, Paige settled in Durham permanently with her partner and young daughter. She is a painter, graphic designer, and enthusiastic advocate for public education in North Carolina. Paige is excited to design programs that put our independent local businesses at the forefront of building an inclusive, prosperous, and one of a kind city.
